Seville’s modern airport was completely remodelled in 1992. A complete renovation is expected to be completed by the end of 2022.
Seville International Airport recently initiated a modern and advanced remodeling of its facilities, which will significantly increase its operating capacity.
The airport arquitecture is inspired by the Sevillian culture and is based on three traditional elements: the Mezquita, the Palacio and the orange trees.
Therefore, travelers are welcomed by an orange grove and walk through a blue-colored room with glazed tiles, crowned by an arch supported by the vaults.
