In baroque style, it was built on the occasion of the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929 and with the purpose of being the headquarters of the Pavilion of Seville, together with the annex Lope de Vega Theater.
It is located a few meters from the Plaza de España and the University of Seville, in the most monumental and touristic area of the city. Its location and the access facilities provided by the city's renewed communication routes only serve to underline the Casino's suitability as a multifunctional space in the city. The set of facilities that make it up is completed with two rooms prepared to host conferences, forums, training courses, screenings, presentations, etc.
In its new stage, this space is consolidated as an institutional venue for cultural events of important international projection, such as the European Film Festival or the Flamenco Biennial.
