This Hacienda of olive trees, called at the time "The hospice of India." Name given at the time to the order of the Jesuits who lived there to rest and heal monks returning from America. Some time later, the estate was owned by the Marquis of the Marais, D. Alejandro Aguado, who had contributed, with France in the Franco-Spanish war. This caused his exile in Paris.

At the entrance of the Hacienda there is an image representing the Archangel Michael and the dates: 1754-1920. This is one of the best areas of Seville, an example of rural baroque architecture in Andalusia.

Inside the house is a small altar of the chapel and other pictures and paintings of the eighteenth century. The architect Lucas Cintora restored this area in the middle of the 18th century.

Another highlight at Hacienda Poeta is a museum with one of the largest collections of antique cars in the world.

Today the hacienda is adapted to become the ideal place to celebrate all kinds of events in Seville.
